Our Mission
Nunchi Health is a global nonprofit building culturally inclusive mental health for all.
We particularly focus on immigrant-origin communities. We build inclusive spaces where people from all cultural backgrounds can learn about and prioritize their mental health, and actively participate in the healing of their communities through peer support.
What is Nunchi?
Nunchi is the Korean concept describing a subtle art and ability to listen and gauge others' moods. At Nunchi Health, we hear the voices of our generation. As a community health organization, we foster a community committed to supporting each other. We believe in the power of collective healing.

Who We Are
Nunchi Health, founded in 2022, recognized the need for a safe space for students of immigrant background or heritage to learn about their mental health and be involved in the healing of their communities. We have evolved to become a collective of healthcare professionals, students, humans dedicated to mental health equity and community building.
What We Do
Our programs give young persons a community of support as they navigate the challenges of school and transition periods. We provide students with a safe space to reflect and problem-solve, tell their stories authentically, and a community where they can find support and belonging. We currently offer programs for high school, college, and graduate students of immigrant background or heritage.
Who We Serve
We offer programs for high school, college, and graduate students of immigrant background or heritage. One in five persons living in the U.S. has a treatable mental health disorder. Among them, immigrant communities receive inferior care and less care. Our communities face unique life challenges, including but not limited to minority stress, stigma, intergenerational conflicts or trauma, an intense pressure to succeed, and more.
